Alex Schwantner

Director of Photography & Editor From age 14, Alex focused on breaking into the film industry. Graduating from Full Sail University’s film program, he began working as an independent producer while freelancing as a videographer and an editor. Brought on as editor for the HRH pilot, Alex introduced the conversational element for Buckley and the crew. What started off as a way to plug gaps in the narrative became our trademark approach – “the cast IS the crew.” During the 2nd episode, Alex shot, edited and uploaded the visit to a dengue fever-stricken hospital while still on location in Cape Verde.

Jay Sheehan

Production Manager With over 15 years of professional sound recording behind him, Jay looks to capture, edit, and mix most anything that he can get his hands on. Everything from live music to a great songwriter to sound effects for film. From high school musicals to his degree in production and engineering from Berklee College of Music, he’s learned how to nurture and shape sound the way artists hear it. From the HRH pilot through our WGBH series, Jay recovers and improves valuable audio from key interviews. Combined with his work in video, he manages the workflow throughout the process, from pre-production through post.
